2021-22 CES Enrollment:

• Currently, we have 380 students enrolled at Columbia Elementary.
1. Kindergarten: 76
2. 1st Grade: 70
3. 2nd Grade: 75
4. 3rd Grade: 94
5. 4th Grade: 65

Parent-Teacher Conferences:

• Parent-teacher conferences will be from October 25th-29th. Columbia will be hosting conferences through a face-to-face setting while accommodating families who request their conference to be held virtually. 
• In addition to parent-teacher conferences, Columbia will be hosting our annual Scholastic book fair in the CES library.

Spirit Week at CES:

• Columbia will be celebrating spirit week during the week of conferences. The daily events are as follows...
• Monday: Blue- Bullying Prevention
• Tuesday: Twin Day- Dress like a twin
• Wednesday: Backwards/Mismatch Day
• Thursday: Crazy Hair/Socks
• Friday: Halloween Costumes

National Bullying Month:

• October is National Bullying Prevention Month. Every Monday during the month of October, both Columbia students and staff are encouraged to wear "blue" to bring attention to bullying prevention. In addition, Kel Leavens, our CES leadership teacher, has focused October's K-4 lessons to be centered around empathy and anti-bullying. For those students who do not have blue items to wear, we had a Columbia Grandma donate over 100 "blue" knitted hats for CES students.
