At the SWWAVA Directors’ meeting in March I learned about E2SSB 6552, the passage of Core 24. OSPI will be coming out with a list of frameworks during the 2014-2015 academic year that will automatically qualify for cross-crediting for math and science. This is to be implemented during the 2015-2016 academic year. There is much to learn about this topic and Betty Klattenhoff, the CTE Director for the state, will be answering questions at our May meeting.
