While the weather outside has impacted the learning schedule for many Woodland students, the beauty of home study is that learning can continue in any season. I was pleased to see our families both enjoying the winter weather but also keeping up with their studies. Most are on track to meet their learning goals for the month, and they also went sledding and spent time in the snow! A happy balance for our parents.
This month our students will get the opportunity to hear from Gabe Murfitt as he shares his experience overcoming challenges. We are thankful to Mr. Hall and the WMS staff for organizing this opportunity and including us in it.
Our open learning lab sessions this month are focused on the arts standards and intend to incorporate the winter theme we are all enjoying outside.
