Big thanks to Yale PTO for funding two educational field trips for our students. Everyone enjoyed the Lelooska Living History program where they experienced magnificent Northwest Coast Masks coming to life through songs, dances, and stories. The fish hatchery also hosted our 1st-4th grade students for a couple hours. Students learned the inner working of the hatchery and the fish raising process.
Teachers are beginning to administer interim assessments. Our purpose is to use these as a teaching tool, information gathering, and reflection. It is our hope that instruction will be refined and students will feel comfortable and confident when our Spring SBAC window arrives.
Conferences were a big success we had almost 100% attendance! Report cards are being prepared and will go home prior to Winter Break.
Coming up next month…. Emergency drill practice, Winter program, and a reporter is coming to write a story about small schools!
