RE: Intermediate School Update

• WIS students have just completed their first unit in the Step Up to Writing curriculum. The opinion summative writing assessment showed significant growth in every grade level. Teachers are excited about the effectiveness of a systematic writing program.

• Teachers are taking advantage of the holiday season to focus on other cultures around the world and how they celebrate with food, dance, and music.

• Our Holiday concert is scheduled for Tuesday, December 18th at 9 am and 1:30 pm. Linda Morris and the specialists have created an amazing program that incorporates all the arts.
